MISSION STATEMENT
Trinidad Boxing Club addresses the lack of accessible fitness and personal development opportunities in underserved communities by offering free boxing, kickboxing, and self-defense programs for youth and young adults. Through these activities, we aim to foster physical fitness, mental resilience, and personal growth, empowering individuals to overcome life's challenges confidently and achieve their full potential.

What is Trinidad Boxing Club?
-Trinidad Boxing Club is committed to fostering healthy bodies, mental resilience, independence, and discipline through our comprehensive programs. Our mission is not just to develop boxing, kickboxing, and self defense skills but to develop strong, mentally resilient individuals who are equipped to face life’s challenges.-While this is not one of those flashy commercial "fitness boxing" clubs, you will improve your level of fitness through practical application not just hitting a bag.-In addition to combat sports, we will practice self-defense principles and tactics, not low percentage "moves."-Best of all this whole thing is free for youth and young adults as part of our non profit mission! We couldn't find a place to train so we created one.-Group size is limited for now but together we can build a dedicated community. CLASS SCHEDULE
SATURDAYS
10am: AGES 10-13
-Focus on mastering the basics of boxing and kickboxing, such as proper stance, footwork, basic punches and kicks, and defensive techniques.
-Advanced practices
Incorporate more complex footwork drills, and advanced sparring techniques. Includes light sparring for fun, try out new tricks, and discover and solidify individual styles.
1pm: Ages 14 and Up

SUNDAYS
11am: BEGINNERS ONLY
* MUST SIGN UP *
-Focus on mastering the basics of boxing and kickboxing, such as proper stance, footwork, basic punches and kicks, and defensive techniques.
-It is recommended that new students attend between 6 and 8 beginners classes before moving into the advanced classes.
1pm: BOXING ONLY
* MUST SIGN UP *
-Advanced technical boxing drills, footwork, strategies, and techniques.
-NOT FOR BEGINNERS. Open to any combat athletes.
FIGHT CAMP
(APRIL-OCT)
A fight camp styled workout:
OPEN TO COMPETITORS AND FITNESS ENTHUSIASTS
-Beginning with a run(roadwork).
-Combat specific strength and conditioning.
-Fight Prep sparring or Advanced/Technical sparring focusing on strategies and competition readiness.

-Self defense, violence theory, and complex study of Offender behavior.
-Principles in dealing with violence.
-Confidence building and becoming comfortable in managing violent encounters.
-Personalized training including weapons, weapons retention, and escape.
-NOT A COMBAT SPORT CLASS

Self-Defense
"E.S.E.T. PROGRAM"
EXTREME SURVIVAL AND ESCAPE TACTICS
Did you know that most people freeze in self-defense situations or DO NOTHING? Our program can help you DO SOMETHING and break out of that pattern and defend yourself effectively.We believe effective self-defense training is essential for anyone who wants to be prepared for emergency situations or self-defense scenarios. Under attack; stress, adrenalin, and overstimulation will cause your movements and skills to diminish. This is why it's important to train basics like footwork, striking, and channeling aggression to perform well, not flashy low percentage "moves".Harnessing and channelling aggression while maintaining control of movement and body mechanics is what we focus on in our classes. By emphasizing practical techniques, gross motor skills(big powerful moves), and mindset preparation, our reality-based self-defense program can help prepare armed and unarmed citizens defend themselves and their families effectively.Don't let this intimidate you, our self defense program begins with a class like discussion on how attacks happen, what happens to our brains and bodies in a fight, and scenarios that are most likely to happen. We also have the popular "What if" discussions and talk about the best, most practical, self defense tools including weapons and weapon retention.Beginners are progressed slowly and safely and are stress tested often but only at intensities they are comfortable with. Remember that through this program, Trinidad Boxing Club's primary focus is to build confidence in self-defense situations.
